Just discovered this- am practically an addict! Horses are such beautiful creatures, and the surroundings, as well! - but what keeps me coming back are the interlocking stories of this intruiging family, and how they keep helping each other- or not- and the ebb & flow of all the events, good & not-so- good and wondering how they are going to cope. Such excellent writing gives the characters so much depth, and the cast was wonderful!! The roles seem as if they were written just for them! I feel as if I would like to be friends with them (well, most of them) and can't wait to see how things turn out!! Love Jack,the patriarch, with his nuggets of wisdom and trying to instill common sense when it is needed, which seems to be quite often! :)
