I absolutely adore this anime. The character designs are quite excellent, and the voice acting is on point. The characters have a lot of personality and the style of the anime in general is absolutely amazing. I watched this anime around 2017-2018 and I have loved it since. I adore the fact that this anime takes place in the Victorian era, and the fashion is simply beautiful. I have watched the anime, movie, read all the manga, etc. If you like dark, comedic anime then this will be a great anime for you. There is multiple dark twists in this anime, balanced out with humorous scenes. The personalities vary between all the characters, although there is parts where characters act very similar. One of my favorite characters is Pluto, I love his personality, even though all he does is bark and make dog noises. I grew a connection with this character right when I saw him show up on the first episode he appeared in. He has a protective, playful, and dog-like personality. He acts like a dog, but I know he has human emotion. When Pluto is shown, there is only certain scenes he appears in. His demon hound form is amazing, I love how he is different from a simple dog or wolf and he is larger and has over-exaggerated features added to him. He is quite a minor character for sure, but I still do love his simplistic yet amusing design and playful dog-like personality. Another character I have grown quite the obsession with is William T. Spears. He has a very respectful and serious personality, which I do not usually like in characters. I usually attach to playful characters such as Pluto, but not in this case. He also has a very simple design like Pluto does, but it is very pleasing to the eye. I love the episode where Grell and him meet, it is an amusing episode and that is what really caught my attention to William. He is quite attractive which I will admit, I promote honesty. Alright, yeah, this anime is honestly one of my favorite animes. I am totally obsessed with it and it is just simply fantastic in all ways possible. I can't believe I waited years to finally write a review, I should've done this earlier. I will repeat myself one more time, I very much recommend this anime to people who love animes with a balance of dark themes and comedic twists, I myself love animes featuring such and this show is now my all time favorite.
