The B-sides to 2015's groundbreaking "To Pimp a Butterfly" stand on their own nicely, Kendrick delivers a raw undoctored experience; filled from top to bottom with Jazz, Funk, and Hip-Hop. The eeriness along with Kendricks vague, unapologetic & incomplete vision makes for a good listen that leaves you wanting more.

A touching story that, unfortunately, seems to be half-baked. Coles lack of focus to the topic at hand is the undoing of this record, which is often the case with Cole. despite only having 10 tracks, Cole consistently neglects the topic in favor of pleasing himself, which ultimately, leaves the listener feeling robbed.
