Don’t let rotten tomatoes sway you... after all they gave Manchester by the Sea like 1,000% and that had to be the worst movie ever. Film critics have a way of trying too hard to hate movies and encouraging others to follow suit. I am obviously no critic and certainly no writer. But I am a twenty-something who can get down with a movie that redefines “bad” decisions and reminds everyone how common it really is to be .... untogether. Intriguing (but don’t let the first scene set the pace; it was a bit abrupt) and entertaining. Kind of felt like a high fidelity. And who doesn’t love ben mendelsohn?
