I take exception to the sham of using the "Perry Mason" name to suck people in to watching the HBO series, only to find out the main character is a hack detective and not a lawyer. In that regard, the legacy of the original Perry Mason series, has been disrespected. From what I can see, the series looks like its gonna be pretty good. Trickeration on the title was unnecessary, any name would work.
