Jilly Hart 9

I started reading the book and about halfway through it, I had almost no energy left to finish.( It gets better I promise ) I was gonna finish it to say I read it but I really hated it. Mostly because the protagonist was an awful cynical person. He was also super judgy I think at some point I was feeling really sad and so I started to read and it was where Holden was talking about his little brother. I started to cry oh my goodness. For some reason since that I had been able to see his perspective and why it was the way that it was. I guess I understood him way better and his actions and the confusion he was going through. I honestly related and deep down even though I might never say those thing out loud, I was a horribly judgmental person too. It only made me dislike Holden because his thoughts were on paper, if my thoughts were on paper I would feel uncomfortable around "me'. The book suddenly felt like one of the best books I had ever read, Holden was like a actual human being. He didn't go on some huge adventure through mountains or fight an evil villain. In a way he did, just figurative. This book has too be one of my favorite books ever.
