I found it a page turner, partly because I had boarded briefly as an eight year old and because I knew many who had boarded. The most important aspect of boarding is that the child must not show emotion, because that "shows weakness" and you could be bullied. You are expected to be striving to be top or be top, like a prime minister, but boarding school makes you unsuited because you are shut up in a school culture which goes back 200 years to Empire days, so that you don't understand the present world. You are expected in debates to be able to propose the unsuportable, so that what ever opinion you hold you are always right, whatever you do it is the right thing. Without saying so specifically one must deduce that neither Cameron nor Johnson were suited to be PM. I have recommended the book to family and friends.
