It takes a lot of courage for a white man to speak trauma, emasculation and being beaten by their very own system. Abuse can find you anywhere, even in privilege. That is because of intersectionality. This work is feminist because it defines how one can find themselves on the crossroads of some privilege and also some devastating disadvantage. This series explains that so incredibly well. The acting doesn’t skip a beat and neither does the audacity of abusers.

When you have three winning ingredients and still muck it up - famous cast, a love triangle and great country scenery.

Aceing being basic. Several great moments. Predictable and familiar. No big Aha-scenes but many good ones. Andy and Joyce makes me feel nostalgic about old forgotten people - and understand that the greatest joys of life is when you think of someone they are also thinking of you. 7/10 for dialogue and delivery

Seven stages of grief so beautifully acted out. So effectively unresolved.

Vivian is so vacuous that I never want to ever say her lines even in error. Great acting.

This movie made me feel things. It made me feel the loss of the one that got away. Fantastic scroll. Absolutely great acting. The psychological thrill of confusion. But in the end, the loss is so well portrayed. Enough white space. People who didn’t feel things about this film are in serious trouble, they probably miss out of such good art elsewhere too.

I’ve collapsed before. Time stops exactly this way. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia and the other names it’s known by, mostly presents itself in women. The film is a poetic observation about the most deathly disease I’ve known, and I’ve known cancer and brain tumours. It’s a deathly disease because it’s unclassified and under-appreciated and hardly understood by popular culture. We know more about migraines than we do about CFS and ME, and migraines don’t kill. This film is also about how to stay among the living when you’re sick. Overall a masterpiece. No wonder Rotten tomatoes gives it a hundred percent.
