10/10
I found this movie on my own while searching, and I was intrigued by its rating (yes, I care about ratings) and the fact that it's Italian! No one had suggested it to me, and I hadn't seen any posters for it on any platform, even though my platforms and circles are full of cinema enthusiasts.
I can say that this is one of the best films ever made. FULL STOP!
Sometimes filmmakers try to deliver a powerful message with a weak story, cast, or music, but the creators of this movie did an exquisite job. Everything about it is amazing!
You don’t just walk away with a great message; you’ll also appreciate the acting, music, and plot.
i also think the fact that this movie was directed by a women is the pillar that made this movie this great.
with such a heavy movie Paola Cortellesi didn't forget to put smile on our faces.
The movie hits hard. As a woman, I still see so many others suffering from violence, abuse, and inequality.
Set in 1946, right after WWII, the film features contemporary music, which I think was chosen to highlight that these issues persist. We are still fighting for our rights, though we have come a long way.
I’m sending my love and support to women all over the world—those who have suffered injustice and those who continue to struggle.
We pray for a world where women are treated as equals and with respect.
Thank you for such an amazing experience and for putting so much effort into this film. It’s been a long time since I’ve liked a movie this much.
