I had not read any reviews about the movie or spoke to anyone who had seen it, but decided to see the movie. I took a 76 year old veteran with me. We enjoyed the movie. Realistic and profound. There were racial undertones, but that was expected. He was a 90 year old white male veteran who grew up in that era of overt racism. The amazing thing is that this man went under the radar for years while black and brown males get profiled all the time.
