Ignore all the naysayers, I don’t know what movie they watched but it couldn’t have been the same one we watched. We absolutely loved it and wanted to watch it again right away. Our 12 yr old daughter that isn’t that familiar with the original loved it too. We loved all the nods to the original. The young actress they chose did such an amazing job playing her part and you could imagine she was his granddaughter. 5 stars all the way. We will be buying it on digital and on dvd if they come out with a collectors edition!
