This is hands down one of the most underrated albums of the 90s. A brilliant follow-up to an already seminal album, the sophomore You'd Prefer an Astronaut, Downward is Heavenward just amazingly builds on what the previous record did and then some. What you have before you is a brilliant mix of shoegaze, post-hardcore and alternative metal that is so criminally overlooked by today's standards. If only they knew how many artists owe and credit a lot to Hum. 10/10 Fav tracks: Comin' Home, Afternoon with the Axolotls, Green to Me, Apollo

One-hit wonders back at it surprisingly again for their eighth outing. Only somewhat guilty pleasure from this Godforsaken piece of trash is Far Enough Away. Everything else is less than mediocre and ultimately proves that frontman CTB is still ready to take on anyone without being headstrong. The final nail has been hammered to the coffin that is nu-metal. Trapt's contemporaries were worth listening to more than themselves. P.S. kind of weird to think that this one band is still riding on the success of just ONE single for the past 17 years.
