The length of the film was good the plot of the story was nice. I like that they didn't show the typical black film where someone was extremely poor or enslaved. But regular Americans living and working as upper middle class. Chanté Adams did a fantastic job as portraying Christina. Her emotions of the way she loved, and wanted more gave me a feeling like I was living the same emotions as well. Her love interest played by Y'lan Noel as Isaac mirrored her acting and the two did an amazing job of letting the audience feel their pain and passion. Issa Rae was not so impressive. I felt like she was only reading the lines they gave her, there was no emotion or passion or chemistry she was flat and boring. She only looked pretty. Lakeith Stanfield was also amazing but had to spice up what he had to work with. Overall it was a good movie but Issa Rae caused me to give it one less star.
