I loved the first season which brought this unlikely group together, and the personal tensions each character had with the other group members. I feel like the second season was, how shall I put it, "M she Ued" to the point of losing credibility for the sake of getting the suffragette theme across. When John Moore is accosted by Goo Goo Knox, out of nowhere, Sarah comes to the rescue and threatens Goo Goo with a gun in front of his gang. Goo Goo meekly submits and lets John go. Seriously? Sarah also seems to have all the expertise and knowledge when it comes to psychoanalysis in Season 2 and regularly castigates and subdues Kreizler publicly making him look like a fool.
Personally I think they should have had a spinoff show based on Sarah's PI business rather than attempt to shoehorn a different protagonist and POV into what was an impressive first season.
