It’s a lovely romantic comedy centered around a pianist who has been suddenly dropped to the harsh world, outside her Daddy’s hands. She deals with a lot of hardships throughout her journey with the sweat and hard work of the hero, and not of her own (lol poor Jun). As life throws her different arrows, she faces it with a whole hearted sunny smile or a whole hearted sob fest.
The series has a lot of surprising twists that even if you are insightful, you would not predict it. It has splashes of danger, drama, suspense, unexpected characters and events, and a lot of health crises. You should take note of each episode title as they indicate the theme of that episode and also the piano music piece that will be played in it. The series is very musical and will surely move your heart… the story is so strong and suspenseful that it will play with your heart and your mind, keeping you on your toes. It also has certain cliché dramatic scenes but they have given funny or surprising twists to it that you will never see coming.
Pretty eyed angel Go Ara plays the insanely cute main character, Goo Ra-ra. She portrays a quirky pianist who is naïve and gullible. She does a good job showing us how innocently child-like she is, making us feel bad for the character and an instinct to take care of her (she makes every characters in the series including the viewers feel the same). She breathes life into the whole series, making it funny. Fun fact: Go Ara actually did learn piano for a few months for the role.
The rising actor Lee Jae-wook, just as he always does in all his other dramas, capture our hearts with the role of Sunwoo Jun. He is a hardworking character who is taken advantage of by Goo Ra-ra (we will REALLY feel sorry for him). The character is sweet and gentle and has a lot of secrets.
I was worried the age difference between the main actors would make the series very awkward to watch but I forgot about all that as soon as I saw the very cute scenes were Jun rides the cycle with Ra-ra on the back, bawling like a baby and snorting on his clothes. Other actors such as Kim Joo-hun, Ye Ji-won, etc plays very memorable roles that makes the series fun, loving, warm and dark.
It is fun to watch each character growing up personally (literally for some characters), from the beginning till end of the series. Unless your mind is made of stone, I am sure you may shed a tear or two atleast… Please do enjoy this warm romantic comedy… I promise you- you won’t get bored and will wanna watch it till the end...
