First off, I want to say I love and admire Tyler Perry. He is a great role model, using his platform to educate and bridge a divide. He doesn’t forget where he started and gives back to our community (ATL!!). I enjoy most of his work. However, this show is awful. If it wasn’t aired on a network for children, I could ignore how obnoxious Young Dylan is. I’m going to sound old, but the kid is a bad influence for the millions of kids watching with his disrespectful and ungrateful attitude toward his family/authority. He even encourages his younger cousin to do the same. If the kid was actually a talented actor, I could see the idea behind the show working on a network aimed toward an older audience, but like everyone else has said, it’d be a modern day version of Fresh Prince with a younger Will, and nthis has nothing on Fresh Prince. Anyway, Young Dylan doesn’t need to be a potential role model to any child and I hope this show doesn’t get another season. Nick should have brought back Cousins for Life!
