Ella Wood

I just finished this movie and thought it was ok. The acting was good, the setting the costumes, the music. But, my God, the plot. I was expecting true love, dramatic runaway and a happy ever after. Instead she lives with her abuser until she dies. As many others, I thought she was going to be a ruthless rebel and such but she just excepted her future. I got so angry at how this plot turned out. It felt so unfinished and unsatisfactory. Good, but I am disappointed.
