Man clearing rivers by paddle boarding made a very patronising comment on BBC Look North on Saturday 16.2.19 about older people not appreciating the importance if recycling. This is very offensive to the 'make do and mend' generation who found uses for all their leftovers etc. A large proportion of today's generation throw down their plastic bottles, crisp packets etc for someone else to deal with. Most older people have grandchildren and they are well aware of the need for recycling and saving the planet.

This film is brilliant. As an older viewer there are so many aspects to getting old that come through which are clearly wasted on younger audiences who get fed nothing but visual effects and fast action none of which you give a second thought about after you have watched it as they are all the same. Another brilliant and subtly humorous movie from the great Clint Eastwood.
