Uncomfortable to watch and seemingly unrealistic. But the ending was great,'cause then I could leave the theater and go out to eat.

I was not that familiar with Jane Austen,and I do not watch much in the way of period pieces. So,what was I doing at this heavily advertised movie? Generally ,I was not enjoying it. I guess sometimes even well done versions of classics about a group of people who are generally insufferable are not enjoyable to me. People may differ on this point. However,in words Chris Matthews might understand,this movie was NOT as bad as the Nazis overrunning France.
