Not having watched the original Arjun Reddy, I feel I can give my honest and unbiased opinion on this movie. Firstly, this is by far one of Shahid Kapoors best performances to date. It didnt come across forced or unnatural. I would go as far as saying that he surpassed his performance from Haider and Padmaavat. Kiara Advani was good, but I didnt quite understand her switch from a shy and quiet girl from a conservative Sikh family one minute, and doing a total u turn to a sex crazed nymphomaniac the 2nd minute. The ending seemed a bit rushed to be honest and could have been structured better. I would definitely recommend watching this especially if you haven't watched Arjun Reddy, you will appreciate it more. This is out and out a one man show, well done Shahid, you have come far from initially being seen as just an SRK wannabe. Well done.
