It was good, great even, but I never got to the end and lost interest and a connection to the storyline. I'll finish it at some point, maybe. Sadly I dropped off at episode 7, an unneeded one week wait for a 45 minute episode when they could have released all at once is pointless and frankly irritating.

The ethics questions posed in the movie tread about as deep as I imagine a Glamour Magazine article would. And the now cliché repeated signaling of the diversity of the characters just adds to the feeling this movie is a school project at some overpriced American arts and humanities faculty.

This movie has all of the 1980's cheese plus the 2010's gore. Terrible but at times unintentionally hilarious. I wonder if a prequel can be more mature, but maybe it shouldn't.
