It was just OK. A bit predictable and the foreshadowing obvious. If it was meant to make us question reality, it lost its own way in the journey to that end.

Some of the editing choices of having unrelated dialogue over scenes was a bit jarring. It seemed to be 2 movies in one. We are teased with a possible romance between Brown and the lady of the house, but that's done away with in favor of an adulterous bit between her cousin and one of the assistants on the site who is married to another assistant on the site. It rambles about. Something about it seems disjointed. Perhaps this was shot with Covid and safe distancing in mind? It just doesn't seem to know what the picture is supposed to be about.

It is funny in its parody and scary and thought provoking as well. Racists will never get its anti-racist message, but it definitely has one all the way through. And the mix of fact with the parody, the use of historical commercials that are blatantly racist and the history of them at the end is educational.

I love the mix of fact and parody. It reminded me of CSA: The Confederate States of America, which featured actual commercials with racist content and at the end, told about them. The time frame allowed only a small selection of news to parody, so some things were left out, but it wasn't meant to be everything that happened. I still can't figure out why the average citizen has a Scottish accent...
