Travel Within, the fourth release from multi-instrumentalist Kamil Konieczniak and lead singer Marcin Staszek, the current incarnation of Moonrise, is the prog brain candy you didn't know you needed. While I like Moonrise's previous albums, this one has grown on me faster than its predecessors. Their sound is somewhat reminiscent of Toto's Hydra and late 2000s periods due to Kamil's smooth guitar leads and keyboard fills, but Marcin has an uncannily similar tenor voice like Steve Perry's. You will also find musical interludes influenced by Steven Wilson, The Paradox Twin, Yes and Happy the Man.
