Faulty medical advice to the public. I am surprised by your unusual lack of accuracy concerning a specialty that is outside of your scope. Ladies, you are intelligent, lovely individuals and you are misinformed. I am a dentist of almost 30 years. As a profession we have been battling infectious disease for decades. Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, AIDS and HIV, tuberculosis and on and on...... Infection control is in our DNA. Not only do we follow CDC guidelines but we exceed them. Covid is an inflammatory disease and if you add to that oral inflammation, you would be surprised the effect on immune response. There is a lot more to dental disease than you realize.
