I enjoyed the movie personally. I think most people didn’t like it because it didn’t have the dragon Eddie Murphy and her love interest, but this story was what inspired me to join the military. She was a warrior, who would rather die than to let her father go off to war. Both movies carried that. It’s about her story. If you only watch movies for a good laugh or to sing songs then you missed out this go around. But if you watched to feel empowered as a woman, that you can be whatever you want to be no matter the gender, then you should have definitely loved this movie as much as I did. Mulan will always continue to inspire and uplift people as long as the legend/story continues.
