It is neither my first time watching this movie, nor it’ll be last. I wish i could watch it and experience the thrill of it like first time. But every time i watch it, I’m forced to think about the incidents & journey of protagonist with different point of view. Sheer magnanimity of imagination that drives the conversation across eras is mind-blowing. To be fair, movie puts your history, geography and theology knowledge to test and it drives your mind like a simulator in which you will reimagine flow of time experienced by earth, humans and civilisations with new lens. What movie doesnt have is CGI, action, violence & nudity, instead what movie offers you content wise is simple, thought provoking conversation in such manner that you will be overwhelmed by its richness. Of course movie gives you break from such dense storytelling where you are expected to recollect your sanity only to be taken deep into the rabbit hole of fascinating history. To draw parallels, the only conversation (in movie) that held me captivated for entire length of time was “12 angry men”. I know its entirely different genre but its the first thing that comes to mind when i think about it. If you are sci-if fan or just layman that enjoys interesting conversations then you will really enjoy this movie. I think in the age of deep fakes, CGI and mindless action … this movie deserves a fair trial on your tv screen, as this is very low budget movie but packs a punch with its thought stimulating content. ** Ignore following para if you don’t want to get into the plot of themovie** —————————————— To put the plot in few words i would sum it up as follows— A man claims he is undead and has walked the earth since beginning of human race. And just for sake of thrill he has decided to reveal his identity to his mortal friends. What would be their initial reaction to such outrageous revelation? Would they believe his journey in which he implies that he influenced the historical events as they know it? Or do they discard his insane theory? How would they counter his claim to the very life that he lived for eternity? —————————————— All the best!

Robin Williams did more than mere acting. you could see it in his eyes, he lived life of characters he played. His part in movie is like poetry itself inspiring to flow free like words, stirring young hearts and daring us to dream. As Keating quotes "But only in their dreams can man be truly free. 'Twas always thus, and always thus will be." He will make you laugh, smile and wonder through and through forcing us to think that something about this man is very soothing and emotionally unsettling at same time. Ethan Hawke and Robert Sean Leonard played their part brilliantly. Movie questions the educational procedures set by society and doesn't fail to emphasize that teaching arts needs unconventional thinking. It needs freedom to bloom and like a plant needs to be nurtured with love and passion. movie delves into age old themes of friendship, young love, passion, failures and sacrifice but seldom intertwined so perfectly.

There is this village with strange name called Dongmakgol, It is here that lost units of warring factions find themselves opposite each other. It is in this village that their lost peace is found,their friendships forged and dreams shaped. It is this purity of hearts that these soldiers consider worth protecting with their lives. wars fought for nations are not always worth fighting for. Mostly the cost is lives of civilians. no matter what side you are on, Wars destroy everything. Innocents and their lives matter and movie depicts why they do. Movie is rich with comedy, love and tragedy. story is immersive. cinematography intimate and above all, Message is beautiful.

don't listen to IMDB or rotten tomatoes.They've rated some of the truly boring and surprisingly oscar worthy movies so high that I began questioning their IQ and EQ . you've got a solid entertaining movie at your hands. Meanwhile everyone is whining about technical inaccuracies, cocky characters or unrealistic plot and how bad movie is, I say there is one good reason to watch. Adrenaline. Movie might be hell of a disaster in most of the aspects but its -NOT slow paced -NOT Monotonous -Hence NOT Boring If you are disappointed by movie then feed your Intellectual appetite with the wisdom of keyboard experts especially from youtube comment section ;D If you don't care what others say and want to watch action packed, fast paced movie for sake of having a good time, think no further. I say grab some popcorn, find a comfort spot and enjoy the movie.

story- 3.7/5 violence and gore- 4 why you should watch -action packed and thrilling -insight into future of invasive AI technologies why you shouldn't watch -director has reputation for blood and gore -body horror in few scenes This movie introduces you to the future where man and AI are at crossroads. earlier noteworthy attempt made to depict such plot was in ex machina, where AI integration with robotics was presented. but coming from director of saw and insidious franchise, leigh whanells "upgrade" makes us confront sci-fi body horror. movie is a glimpse into potential integration of plethora of technologies like cybernetics, brain mapping, nano tech and of course Artificial super Intelligence with humans. This bleeding edge brain-machine interface not only helps out with disabilities but also significantly rises levels of physical and intellectual capability. this is where juice of action lies and movie has plenty of it. way logan marshall moves and fight is almost inhuman and fascinating. story has a rapid flow and plot will keep you glued. Ending of movie might remind you of legend of this genre, the matrix. In "upgrade" AI acts as medical tool to overcome actors disability, gains trust by helping out in tough times and takes control of body by making him dependent on it even by threatening him at times. At last overtakes consciousness by giving him what he desires most. a cage. made of sensations and emotions. feeding him on virtual reality where he is happy to live in.

I personally liked the movie. movie is not regular shooting action, It depicts battle of mental strength, survival instincts, shrewd tactical methods of warfare and above all test of patience. why you should watch? - tight and realictic action setting. - gripping blend of psychological thrill and action. - if sniping thrills you, then you are in for a treat. why you shouldnt? - tests patience. (its sniping, what do you expect) - you dont get to see the villain sniper in entire movie. (which makes him even more badass) - action in entire movie happens at two spots (the wall and trash heap) its a kind of movie that will either appeal you beyond measure or you come to hate it even more at the end. either way its a compellling watch.
