I think this show could’ve been great, it had a lot of potential and there were a lot of directions they could’ve gone. Sadly they chose all the wrong ones. I’m so thrown off by how much they distorted the storyline and created something that has absolutely no relation to the first series at all. Even without that being a factor and watching it as a series on its own, there are many plot holes and things that make no sense at all. Not to mention the awkward acting/script... Everything just feel so off, they shouldn’t of reused the characters’ names like that if they were all going to be so different from the originals and be completely new actors. Should’ve just made a spin-off with new names entirely. They were nothing alike. I think they tried way too hard to force it into modern standards, when this show is supposed to be a classic. I didn’t get past the second episode. I really wanted to like this show, but I couldn’t. I feel like this show should’ve been something on its own, I don’t see why they used the same story as Roswell. It just makes no sense. I’ll just go rewatch the original.
