To be certain, it is a masterpiece. If you had but one opportunity to present the unique brilliant style of Wes Anderson... It would have to be the Grand Budapest Hotel.
The cast is littered with many of the same actors that have graced his prior films. All seem perfectly cast... None more so than Ralph Fiennes. Nothing impresses me more than an absolute reinvention of one's self to further their craft late in their career. It is nothing like anything he has done before... He milk's every last drop of character in his being to fill this character. He rewards your audience with the performance of a lifetime.
For those who have not yet seen this cinematic wonder, I urge you to not waste one more second holding that distinction.
