I saw this movie first time in the 1980s in a small city in India and got sucked into it. I recorded it from a video library on a VHS Tape and almost 30 times I saw it in the next 2 years as a late night dinner movie. The story, the direction and the music, ofcourse - all got stuck into my brain like a bug. But my small Analogue TV with no audio quality of the 1980s has now changed. After 28 years my life too changed a lot. I live in Melbourne now. Last week the movie was telecast on a National TV in Melbourne. It was a late night movie. The weather is very cold in August here and the room is so quiet. The dormant bug in me is now causing the same frenzy and fever as in the 1980s. I have a great Home Theatre now with a terrific audio system. I have listened to the theme music by John Barry more than 10 times in the last week. Sometimes forgetting about some good things in life for a long time is good. You can get happily emotional when those memories come back after decades. Searched the net for a DVD and purchased one from Perth, Australia. Looking forward to watch the movie several times in my home theatre and audio system. I want to feel the fever again, this time in a much better way. Brings back lots of memories. What a nice and happy world is this...I wonder!
