The first three seasons were wonderful and the best potters made it through to the end with the winners making mostly good sense. Creativity and originality were emphasized and recognized. Really fun to watch! Season four however was a major disappointment both in the individual episodes but especially when the two most creative interesting potters were eliminated in the quarter finals. They were essentially criticized/punished for their originality when originality and creativity were prioritized throughout the series. I almost didn’t bother to finish watching the season because I just didn’t care who won and what happened. You hope to see talent acknowledged and rewarded and that happened for three seasons but totally failed in the last season. Not sure I will watch further seasons without some consideration for the serious weakness of the fourth season. Lastly the constant crying of one of the judges while endearing for a while became increasingly annoying and tiresome. Maybe it’s time for a new judge or two who both consider talent and originality and don’t cry so much.

Not very good. It’s as simple as that.
