Very good story and gameplay is pretty solid. I had some time to kill and beat the game in pretty much one night like a Netflix binge lol. Some plot holes but nothing that ruins the story. I played “control” before this and they are comparative but “control” definitely takes all the good parts of quantum break and builds on it. This game is a different mold considering it has episodes in it but it was a fun change up to be honest. The only negatives I’d say are I wish the game had a little more of a sandbox feel to it and that it was longer. 8/10 in my book though.

So I played the story line to this game and beat it. After I finished I thought this was a pretty good game. Then I found out how much the side missions play into the game. The story behind this game completely evolved the more I went through the side missions, it even impacts what ending you have in the game. Playing through the side missions made me feel like I was in a whole new game. I play on PC so I haven’t had any of the issues a majority of console players are having right now. Bugs and glitches are so minuscule that they are funny more than debilitating. I’ve only had 2 times in about 30+ hours of gameplay where the game glitched so bad my mission got messed up but the auto save feature on this game is pretty solid and during a mission puts you back by only a couple minutes. Try it out, you can run around in night city for hours before you even think you are running out of things to do. If you didn’t get the main idea of my review lol DO SIDE MISSIONS. Going straight through the story will make the game seem pretty one sided, you’ll see what I mean.

As a Star Wars fan (of course lol) I loved this game. Like many have noted the visual presentation is awesome. Like many have also noted the gameplay has a lot of similarities to games like dark souls, Zelda and others. The thing I love about this game is going back to the presentation. There are a lot of cut scenes but none are too long or really take the action out of your hands. I will admit when I beat the game is seemed a little short, like at one point I felt like I was just getting immersed then all a sudden it was over. The end is badass though for fans. BD-1 I want along my side for everything. Cal is a very vulnerable character in a world that is lost to the Jedi so seeing a struggle instead of just getting in there and f****** everyone up, it’s nice to be working to make him a better a Jedi is the best way to put it. As a fan and someone who hasn’t enjoyed too many Star Wars games recently (except battlefront 2 which has constantly tried to revamp the game for fans) I’d give this game a 4.2/5. Pros: graphics, fighting mechanics, upgrade system, story, BD-1 lol Cons: older systems don’t run it too well (little laggy), story is a little short, could use side missions or something along the lines. P.S. go to dathomir first.... you won’t regret it
