I like the movies of yester years and in particular those produced in 1960s. Again I am fond of BR banner because BR worked with Great shayar, poet & phylosopher Sahir & musician Ravi who gave simple but melodious songs during that decade. This trio worked for many years and gave many wonderful movies to mention a few Gumrah, Vaqt, Hameaj, Aadmi aur Insan, Dhund . It was in middle of seventies, musicians were changed and we saw RD in The Burning Train, Jameer. But till the death of Sahir on 25th Oct 1980, all BR & Yashraj songs from 1955 to 1980 were written by Sahir. Javed Akhtar made entry in Film Silsila of 1981 only after the exit of Sahir.....

Under the banner of BR Films, Vaqt is a all time hit perhaps first multi star cast film of yester year, directed by Yash Chopra, lyrists by great poet & shayar, philosopher my most favourite Sahir & music by Ravi. I am fascinated about all aspects of this film, romance, love, suspense, court scene, family drama. While all songs are my favourite but 'Chehere Pe Khushi' Aage bhi Jane Na to....are most appealing to me.
