Long time fan of the anine, and I have to say, I don't understand all these negative reviews. The show us not a shot-for-shot remake, and I think that has disappointed some people, but a good cover should not be an exact remake. The acting is great, especially Jet. All the minor characters are entertaining and help flesh out the world. The fight scenes are well choreographed and engaging. The music is absolutely perfect. It is not the anime, but thats a good thing. It takes a lot of the spirit and brings it to a new audience. In many ways it feels like a spiritual successor to both the anime and to a certain extent shows like Firefly. The cast and crew clearly put a lot of love into it and it shows.
