Riley Bell – Google

I'm not really a fan of the superhero genre but I did like a couple shows like the boys on Amazon mostly because it was a unique take on the genre. This show seems like another sad attempt to be like the other dozens of cliche superhero shows. I wish Netflix would focus more on original content rather than trying to copy old and washed up ideas. Netflix should make a big budget star wars spinoff show or something similar that has to do with war between species from other planets and stuff in space. Now that would be fun idea for a show not this boring overplayed cliche superhero garbage.

Meh this show is so bland and corny. Story is hard to follow at times and just lacks depth. Terrible character development. Acting isn't very good at all. I forced myself to watch four episodes in and I'm still not interested at all in the show. Not sure why so many people rated this show so highly. They wouldn't know a good show if it slapped them in the face. If you want a good star trek type show that isn't ruined by CBS go watch Orville it's great.

Was a little slow at times but overall it kept me hooked. I've seen so many great and terrible shows over the years and I am really picky about what I consider a good show. This one is good. Good production. Great scenery and acting. Only thing I would change is I wish it was more historically accurate. The underground railroad wasnt an actual railroad nor was it underground. It was a collection of paths that included safe houses and helpers. But ignoring that fact it was still mostly accurate at showing the harsh reality of life in america back then and it is definitely worth watching. One side note I thought was both annoying comical was the ending episode credits when you just watched a suspenseful and gruesome episode only to get blasted by some upbeat childish gambino hip hop song from 2019. The score in this show was great, but the ending credits music choices were laughable.

This show visually is probably one of the best I've seen since Game of Thrones. The CGI is incredible. If you watch this in 4k HDR you will not be disappointed. That being said some of the scenes almost seemed "over polished" it even annoyed me sometimes like I was watching an Apple iPhone advertisement or something. But the CGI scenes of ships or cities are incredibly detailed and a lot of times felt like I was watching star wars. The storyline for me 4 episodes in seems a little slow and bland and some of the characters could be better but overall this show is unique and very entertaining. I have a good feeling the story will pick up later on in the season. I've been waiting a long time for someone to make a good sci-fi interplanetary TV series and this one does not disappoint.

Honestly surprisingly good first episode. I thought it would be cringey but it was actually pretty brutal and gritty. The group of kids getting blown up in the first scenes. Didnt see that coming. I'm a fan of good shows. And I played a little halo back in the day. So its interesting seeing things in a more serious tone. The whole idea behind the "halo universe" could actually be a realistic future for earth which is one thing I love about scifi shows. Halo has potential. Interested to see how the story progresses.

The first cosmos was a mindblowing masterpiece. A lot more about the wonders of space. I was looking forward to this series. Cosmos possible worlds just repeats over the same topics of evolution and human history on earth. One episode is fine but 10 episodes of the same repetitive stuff? Really boring. I thought this show would be about the universe and other "possible worlds"?! Couldnt watch more than a few episodes. Totally disappointed.
