Delta Force Xtreme 2 is the 8th and final game in the series. There are only 10 single player missions (5 for 2 campaign) which took a couple of hours to beat. Like Xtreme 1 there are ample enemies with the same brain-dead AI as usual. Once the enemies see you they all start to shoot you and rush you. You will be quickly overwhelemed but due to the generous respawn system there's no problem just spraying and respawning. If you have continued to enjoy the Delta Force series then you will like these 10 brand new missions. I also hopped onto multiplayer and still saw a handful of players with a dozen of servers still up. Delta Force's highlight has always been the multiplayer. Thanks for all of the memories Novalogic, hopefully in the future we may see a new Delta Force. Delta Force games always allowed the player the non-linear freedom in the vast terrain to approach the missions how they want and play the game they want, which is missing in a lot of linear shooters nowadays.
