I watched this movie because I needed a break after binge watching protest and riots on CNN. In addition to being an Ice Cube & Ross family fan (yes the entire family). Otherwise the movie fell flat for me. Predictably forced. And as much as I adore Ms. Ross in her other endeavors this role did not work
