It's basically on the same cringe and overall lack of real substance level as 50 Shades of Gray. Except now the mentally damaged psycho is Renee Zellweger instead of Jamie Dornan. Characters speak to each other in a pretentious way that no one talks in in real life. The idea itself is captivating at the start, but quickly goes downhill. ‘You’ is a better show to watch if you're into suspense and tension drama.
