In my opinion, the reviews are too critical of this movie because people went in with a narrow perspective. If the new movies too closely resemble the original trilogy, people say Disney is copying Lucas. If the new movies are too different from the original trilogy, people will complain that Disney is ruining Star Wars. If you consider the fact that J.J. Abrams had to clean up after the absolute disaster that was “The Last Jedi,” then you will appreciate the work he did with the final installment of the Skywalker saga.
