Excellent movie of my childhood. The underlying message of the film is the liberty of a woman to live her life as her wish. Nobody has the right to decide what she should do or not to do.Salma aghas acting was just mind-blowing.

Jishu Sengupta,s acting is really appreciable.Specially I mention the scene when he is just at the door of death and praying for minimum respect as a Raja, that scene made me cry.brilliant acting.Jaya ahesan is perfect choice for the rajas sister.AparnaSen and Anjan Dutta is to some extent boring. The movie is overall good but above all one can watch the movie to discover a new Jishu.
