There is no way Jane Seymour could compare to Ali McGraw. Ali gave the person she played spunk and spirit, just what the part needed. The character who went to Warsaw Poland and wanted to do more in Europe when the winds of war were spiraling out of control needed Ali McGraw. Sticking around in Europe after their baby also took courage. She did not want to leave her elderly uncle and was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
