Hate to break it to you Westerners, and foreigners in general, but the world doesn't revolve around you! Believe it or not, there exist other people outside of your little bubble that have different opinions and beauty standards. I know y'all are irritated that you don't fit beauty standards for once in your lives, but that doesn't give y'all license to whine and complain about it. Korea is a homogeneous country completely different from America, Europe, or Africa. It makes sense that we have our own beauty standards and opinions on our own people. Thus, I am asking y'all to please stop trying to push your own standards on other people groups. After all, hasn't the time for Western colonialism ended? Thank you! Anyway, moving on to the review. I like how it is relatively clean and polite. I can't really compare it to anything else because I haven't watched any other dating shows, but I've heard that they're dirty.

I watched this only because I am a Star Wars Geek and have an overwhelming compulsion to watch every canon TV show to devour any itty bit of lore that I possibly can ... This is not Clone Wars or Rebels ... or even Resistance. Forces of Destiny is composed of short clips that do impart some lore that is utterly meaningless in the end with the singular intent of cramming a political agenda down our throats. It is reminiscent of the all-lady scene in Marvel's End Game which was stupid and unrealistic on every level. We do not need a show focusing on the women of Star Wars to try to get us to appreciate them. We already love Ahsoka, Jyn, Leia, and Sabine who are depicted as normal characters! All in all, watch for the lore if you'd like, but don't expect anything great - Shoddy animation that is more suited for children (whom I believe were the target audience).

Star Wars: Resistance is definitely not on par with Clone Wars. Thus, I shall have to compare it with Star Wars: Rebels. While Rebels was kid-oriented, it did have its good moments. At least some death was shown (mind you, I'm not some deathmongerer, but casualties in war is realistic. Clone Wars knew this.) ... Resistance, on the other hand, is even MORE kid-oriented and Kazuda is quite pathetic, unfortunately. Practically no one dies, which is quite unrealistic since they're fighting a war against the First Order. The best part about Resistance is probably that it's funny AND that it doesn't mess with beloved characters like how Rebels messed with Ahsoka and Rex. I found the animation and graphics to be superior to that of Rebels, too. All that to say, Resistance is definitely geared toward kids, so I expect they'd rate it well (like 5-9 yr olds). I believe the negative reviews come from older fans. All in all, I, like other geeks, watch this series only because it's Star Wars and we have an overwhelming urge to watch every single Star Wars film/TV series. For the nongeeks, this is a good show for your kids - it's not too violent, it's fun, and it teaches good values.

This K-Drama had it all: excellent actors (besides a couple of the foreigners), stunning videography, superb costume designs, and, most importantly, an intricate and engaging plotline. The chemistry between the two leads is awesome; plus, there's no, erm, scenes, so that's good! I love watching historical dramas, and this one is on another level. Furthermore, the dialogue managed to be both funny and serious. The amount of depth poured into the characters clearly showed, as well. Mr. Sunshine manages to beautifully encapsulate the spirit of Korean patriotism and the momentous period of the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
