Found it quite dull and boring in parts. Don’t understand the rave reviews. It’s looks great but kept waiting for some great reveal that would suddenly bring it to life. Very underwhelmed by this movie.

Atmospheric but story unconvincing though acting strong. Characters not particularly likeable so didn’t really care what happened to them. A bit of a bore at times. Kept expecting something amazing to happen but ending a let down. The last 20 years are definitely not cinemas golden years. Very few films theses days exceptional.

Really boring. The narrative with dead husband going over the same thing I found really dreary. Definitely wasn’t scary can’t get over the good reviews. It’s more a movie about abuse but somehow gets lost.

Fabulous. Ignore the reviews this is a gem of movie. This is a movie for those young at heart and those you still dream. Worth at least a five out of five. Emma Thomson is just fabulous. Kenneth Branagh must be so jealous.The movie is moving funny romantic engrossing beautiful acted and will become a classic. Much better than over hyped Mary Poppins movies.
