Having read the first three books of this series five times over and the rest of the series twice, I was very impressed with the handling of the plot and condensation of this massive narrative into the 8 episodes of Season 1! No small feat!
The acting was wonderful, the cinematography beautiful, the CGI convincingly rendered. I shall be exceedingly disappointed if subsequent seasons are not currently in production!!!

Why have I not heard of this movie until now!?!?!?
Gripping performances, nuanced script, layered characters, relatable, intimate human storytelling revealing the dissonance of culture, art, political and social cultures with humanity.
I am so grateful to have seen it!
