*SOME SPOILERS* God damn, this movie was bad. I don't understand why and how this managed to get a 91% on rotten tomatoes. I genuinely think they must have been high on crack. This movie is the literal definition of cliché. All of the characters fit into a specific stereotype. One thing that kind of stood out to me was how dumb these characters are. Now, I know that characters in most horror movies are mentally impaired, but this... is a stretch. So much is unclear in this movie, and even *in the outside world* normal, logical precautions in this scenario are definitely not taken thus leading to everyone's demise. It's like the writers for this movie put 10-year-old brains in these adults, both in the "simulation" and controllers, leading them to make garbage decisions. At the end of the movie, when it is revealed that each character falls into a role, Hemsworth's character fills the athlete's role. However, early in the film, the stoner dude says that he is more of a scholar with an academic scholarship. I could list so many other examples of how this movie is bad. I don't know, and maybe the director wanted this to be a cliché movie. If this was true, they could have added some cues to let the audience know that this is some parody. I was stuck in a middle ground throughout the film, trying to figure out whether this was a mock movie or a real take. 0/10 would not recommend lmaoo.
