I loved the film. all those critics who hated it, clearly don't have any appreciation for musical theatre. I suppose if a film isn't about shooting guns and driving fast cars these days, people can't get the idea of it into their head. The film is beautiful, some of the songs aren't quite as good as the musical version, but some of the dance numbers are amazing. It's well worth seeing. Although if you don't like song heavy musicals it's probably not for you. I loved it though.
