This movie was inevitabley going to be awesome. I just feel the sentimentality was immediately flooded with self awareness so every stake became a joke. Yes it's a Deadpool movie, that's his thing, I get it. I just can't help but feel they water downed the character of Logan for the sake of a song and dance. It was still good, don't get me wrong. But the villains are forgettable, the cameos are laughable, the plot is absolutely haywire and totally aimless, and even having x23 Logan's daughter being essentially the ambassador of the voids rejects, can anybody tell me why? Can anybody explain why the Deadpool 10005 is affected by Logan 616 timeline ripple effect? X23 being the void leader and Logan being an anchor being both have literally no explanation. However, the ending is great and gives me goosebumps saying how Deadpool treats everything as a joke and this is this wolverines only shot at redemption, if they just stopped milking the cow and let them die at the end breaking the time ripper I truly would put this movie in a top 3 marvel because it was absolutely noble. But guess what, they didn't die yet again nothing's really at stake and whoopidty do, see ya in theaters for another let's see what sticks to the wall first multiverse tva creativity. Idk man it seems cheap. I gave this still a 4 because again, it would be truly a triumphant effort to take these characters and actors and make it a bad movie. With that being said, it could of easily been one of the best ever if they just learned from Thor 4 and stop putting a joke into every serious moment. That's literally all it will take and I believe the MCU never left. The jokes, the writers being absolutely who knows what with the multiverse/tva, and maybe let some heros actually die like there supposed to. If deadpool and wolvie died together in this film MCU fans top 2 would be 1 endgame 2 Deadpool and wolverine. Good movie. Just a bit much fan service for someone looking for depth
