This movie feels like it was written by AI. The story makes no sense and the acting is shockingly bad. It's uses basically every cheap trope in the book to cover up it's gaping plot holes. 10 minutes in an you basically figure out the entire plot because again it feels like it was written by an AI who has an idea of what fantasy is but no concept of how to pull it off with any sort of soul or value.

Firstly. This film has some of the best CGI out there at the moment. And that's about all that it has going for it. This film is a showcase of how you can have all the stuff you need to make a good film but nothing in the world can cover up bad writing and storytelling. It is packed full to the brim with bad dialogue, janky world building and a complete lack of any consistent tone. It feels like 3 different people were trying to make a film and none of them can write dialogue or a story that makes sense. But they are good at taking a beautiful shot.

Avatar the way of water is at best borderline okay and at worst cringe worthyly bad. The big set pieces and CG are great but the story and characters are lazily written and predictably shallow (no pun intended). A movie with this much money behind it should be better and we should expect better.

This film takes itself to seriously and is filled with plot holes. That's about all there is to it. People reading into it being some deep film with gravitas and intrigue are just making it up so they don't feel like they wasted 2 hours.
