Kay Cannon might have felt , Just bringing in a new star crew doesn't make an old fairy tale new, rather giving it a tangy twist will make it new. Obvious many times and subtly too many times the movie talks about the changing ( rather changed) gender roles, sexuality, equality, women entrepreneurship and of course love. Enjoyed watching it. Couldnt believe it was Cinderella's debut. Fun watching Brosnan. His conversation with prince Robert is worth rewinding. Gwen is a creative leadership awaiting right chance. Good watch.

Good read. Interesting to know about Maori culture and tradition. Their landing on the island from somewhere leaves a clue that they might have come from the then Lemuria. Because there is a theory that these clans are none other than the ORI clan of tamilnadu. Ma means big.
