i don't understand why people that supposedly loved the source material enjoyed this movie. maybe its just me but this movie felt so disrespectful to the original 1975 rocky horror. i really didn't like this movie and found myself cringing the whole time. the songs sound like a middle school play, the actor that played rift raft didn't fit the role at all and made it feel really lack-luster, and the fact that they made frank a women made the whole film feel even more censored and like a cheap high school production. rocky horror is possibly one of the most important cult classics of all time and i love that people want to introduce it to the next generation but this is not the way to do that.
