I am older 60+ and read all the Dune books many years ago. I viewed this on HBO Max so I didn't get the theater sound and feeling of the movie sound track. This is the best movie of the first book by far. There are differences between the book and this movie so purists may not like it. I do hope the second half is quick to follow. Covid19 has changed movies and theater box office forever I think. I plan on going to a theater to see this as I have movie credits to burn now.
